Rahi — Work and Study Migration Paths
Rahi helps people decide on a migration path before they spend money on it. A roughly ten-minute questionnaire ranks work and study pathways with reasons for and against, shows each gap with a concrete fix, and gives a cost and time range. Applicants can then book a session or a full case package with a counselor who knows that path, with roadmap, document checklist and messaging in one place.

One Next.js App Router codebase serves the public site and three role areas — applicant, counselor and admin — while a worker process runs pg-boss jobs, reminders, notifications and the Telegram bot. PostgreSQL via Prisma holds everything, files sit in a private MinIO bucket behind access checks, and live messaging uses SSE over Postgres LISTEN/NOTIFY with a polling fallback. A pure rules engine evaluates answers against Zod-validated JSON rule sets, and every query passes through repositories that enforce ownership per role.

Ranked paths with reasons
Each pathway gets a match score, pros and cons, missing requirements with a fix, and a cost and time range — results only come from published, verified content.
Counselor marketplace
Independent counselors join after document review, set their own prices, and run cases from a dashboard with calendar, kanban, templates and earnings.
Manual payment, held funds
Card-to-card or bank transfer with an uploaded receipt; the team approves it by hand and nothing reaches the counselor until it is confirmed, with disputes and refunds handled in-app.
Security built in
Email OTP and Telegram login, admins on password plus mandatory TOTP, AES-GCM encryption for counselors' bank details, self-hosted fonts and a strict CSP.
